Rodney Prins Mr Gay Nation 2025

Hey, lovely people! Let me introduce you to myself, Rodney Luke Prins. I'm a 35-year-old proud resident of Randfontein, Johannesburg, and I'm living my best life! As the head of marketing and public relations at Randfontein High School (my home away from home since 2007), I get to combine my passion for education and the performing arts. And, fun fact: I've been the project manager for the RACA Eisteddfod since 2015, the biggest school eisteddfod in Gauteng, and also the co-founder of the Youth Arts Festival, established in 2020.

When I'm not working, you can find me hosting events as an MC, judging and designing pageants and also cultural competitions, or simply spreading love and positivity wherever I go. I'm all about connecting with people and making new friends!

For me, every day is a gift. As I always say, "Waking up every day is an achievement that allows me to do more, change more, and enrich the lives of others in so many ways." It's a mindset that fills my heart with joy and purpose.

That's why I've decided to enter the Mr. Gay Nation SA 2025 – a last in my pageant journey on a high note and inspire others to be their authentic selves. This title isn't just about me; it's about empowering others to live their best lives.

I'm grateful for the incredible support system I have – my beautiful family, amazing friends, and my lovely learners, past and present. They're the reason I'm here today, and I couldn't be more thankful!
